Roger Harrell

Roger Harrell

Roger comes to CrossFit Marin with over 20 years of experience in gymnastics, and over 15 years of coaching experience. His passion for fitness is contagious. His technical knowledge and scientific approach help to refine everything we do. Roger holds a B.S in Chemical Engineering and spent several years working on enormous processing plant projects, ore refinement systems and chemical weapons disposal facilities. Throughout it all he has kept a hand in coaching and training and has finally dedicated full time to his true passion. Roger has been involved in CrossFit since the early days and is also the gymnastics curriculum writer and core competency expert for the global CrossFit community.

Andrés De La Rosa

Andres has an extensive background in many sports, including baseball, track & field, soccer, rock climbing and gymnastics. He brings a diverse knowledge to the CrossFit Marin team. In his 12 years of experience coaching gymnastics he has helped many athletes excel. His persistence will help you carry on when you find it difficult

Stephanie Sharp

Stephanie Sharp

Stephanie Sharp comes to Crossfit Marin with a passion for coaching that is unwavering. She grew up competing in regional gymnastics and dance competitions and discovered weightlifting at 15 years old. By 16, she was the only female in her school to pass the Marine Corps fitness test at the male-prescribed fitness level. She couldn't have known it then, but CrossFit was her destiny. After spending years in the corporate world, Stephanie decided to try working in the field of her passion and became a personal trainer. When Stephanie became exposed to CrossFit, she was hooked and knew that CrossFit was the only way to provide her clients with the type of holistic fitness that they needed and deserved. When she isn't training private clients or punishing the minions of CrossFit Marin, she is volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marin and spending precious time with her friends and family. Sarah Farrell

Sarah Farrell

Sarah has been a personal trainer since 1997. Her initial intent was to train people as an interim job until she decided what she really wanted to do. She very quickly discovered that training people is exactly what she wanted to do. She has long term clients that have been working with her for a decade. Her training goes beyond just fitness. She has helped people discover not only physical strength, but personal strengths. She has helped many people transform not only their bodies but their vision, beliefs, preconceptions... about themselves. She has several clients with maintained weight loss of over 50 lbs, and one with over 100 lbs. This all through true long term transformation, not short term quick fixes. Her focus continues to be on truly helping people become healthier, more active people leading to a more enjoyable life. Nick Wise

Nick Wise

Nicholas Wise has an extensive martial arts background, having studied various forms of self defense for the better part of 23 years. He holds black belts in two styles, and has over seven years of experience coaching students of all ages in practical self defense and martial arts. He has worked in a several public safety sectors, including security and emergency medical services, and recognizes the importance of being able to transfer skills learned in the gym to real-world situations. He discovered Crossfit in 2007 and quickly came to see the importance of all-around fitness to the pursuit of martial arts. He believes in teaching a wide variety of techniques, and runs his classes by the motto, "If you're not having fun, you're not learning as much as you can."
